Summer Jobs Service
This Ontario government program can help you find a summer job. The program provides free services to improve your job searching and self-marketing skills. It also provides businesses, farms, not-for-profit, and other community organizations with a $2/hour wage support for summer jobs they create under this program.
Who can participate?
Summer Jobs Service is available if you are:
- 15 to 24 years old (up to 29 for a person with a disability).
- Planning to return to school in the fall.
What's offered?
The program offers the following:
- Free training on how to develop job search and self-marketing skills to help you land and keep a job.
- A $2/hour wage support for businesses and farms, as well as not-for-profit and other community organizations to hire you.
- Jobs that can last up to 16 weeks beginning in April and ending by September 30.
